Atlanta's The Perlant Signs Nashville Lease, Bringing Its Private Social Club Model to the Gulch

The Perlant, the Atlanta-based private social club rooted in wine that has grown to more than 500 memberships since its 2023 founding, has signed a lease for a new location in Nashville’s Gulch neighborhood, the company announced today. The Nashville flagship is expected to open in Fall 2027 and will mark the brand’s first expansion beyond Atlanta.

The Perlant's story begins earlier than its address. Founded by Christian Ries, the club spent years in formation — building community through private dinners, member events, and programming — before its flagship opened at Two Buckhead Plaza in January 2025. That patient approach shaped the model: a founding cohort of 100 memberships was assembled through individual conversations before the doors opened, and that community has grown organically to more than 500 memberships in the months since.

The Perlant operates across nearly 10,000 square feet in the heart of Buckhead, offering a dining room, wine bar and lounge, living room and library, wine cellar, private dining room, and patio. The wine program, led by Wine Director Elizabeth Dames, features more than 6,000 bottles and 40 wines by the glass. The food program is led by Head Chef Jordan Sanchez. Member programming spans tastings, monthly wine dinners, seasonal education events, and a beloved annual travel program — both 2025 and 2026 trips sold out within an hour of release.

A Club Built Before It Has Walls

The Gulch places The Perlant at the center of Nashville's growth corridor: a neighborhood that draws the kind of wine-serious, professionally rooted members the club is built to serve. The Nashville founding cohort follows the same model that shaped Atlanta: 100 memberships, assembled through personal conversations rather than a traditional sales process. It’s an intentional community, built from members who embody the club’s core values of humility, generosity, and kindness.

"I've spent a lot of time in Nashville — walking neighborhoods, having dinners, meeting people — and I kept finding the same thing: a city full of people who want to gather intentionally around great wine and good company," said Christian Ries, Founder and CEO of The Perlant. "I wanted to build this the same way we built Atlanta. Slowly, with the right people, before the walls go up."

Founding members gain immediate access to The Perlant’s existing Atlanta programming — including member dinners, winemaker tastings, educational events, and the club’s annual travel program — ahead of the Nashville location’s opening.
